Happy 1st Birthday to Ella

I know I have not put up any pictures of Ella in months so I am going to try to catch everyone up. Ella turned 1 year old on June 12. She had her one year visit to the pediatrician and we found out she is a little peanut. She weighs 19 1/2 pounds and is 28 inches long which are both around the 25th percentile. She is really walking well and has finally started getting more teeth...I think she has about 8 now. She is finally starting to eat like a normal person and doesn't insist on shoving everything down her throat at one time...which makes meal time so much better for me! We had a big party the Saturday after her birthday with all of our friends and family. I was scared that she would just bust out crying with everyone staring at her. Boy, was I wrong. She smiled and danced away while everyone sang to her. It was such a special day! I wasn't very good at taking pictures throughout the day but here are a few that I got.

Beach Trip

Mike finally got 2 days off in a row so we set out for Bethany Beach. It was a much needed mini vacation. It was Ella's first beach and pool experiences and she had a great time. She also loved the boardwalk...all the lights, music and people walking around. here are some pics...

Happy Easter!

Ella is now 10 months old! I can't believe how quickly time flies! I forgot to update with info from her last Dr. appointment. At nine months she weighed in at 18lb 3oz and was 27 1/2 in long. She is busy crawling and walking while holding on....which lead to her very first black eye. She can say Dada (of course) and bye-bye while waving. She also imitates my elephant sound and throws her arm in the air for the "trunk". And, although these things are all very exciting for me it really doesn't matter because she won't do them on call in front of others! Oh well, what can you do? Anyway, here are some pictures from Easter and some other cute ones from this month.
